This website contains volunteering opportunities available to students and young adults from across the globe. It provides an avenue to take the initiative to work for a global goal and the upliftment of the downtrodden.
AIESEC provides a massive directory of all available volunteering opportunities in different regions and locations around the world, with focus areas ranging from quality education and gender equality to disaster and crisis management. Interested students can sign up and select any project of their choice and go through the selection process, after which they have to prepare to travel to the site where they will be carrying out said volunteer work. It is advised that students without the means look for available projects which are a reasonable distance from their communities.
YouthOP provides a wide range of volunteering opportunities, fellowships, internships, scholarships, and study approach opportunities, making it an indispensable resource for high schoolers, who can type in the necessary filters and get results on the region and program they want to pursue. The competitions page also provides an extensive directory of open competitions for high schoolers and college students. Added bonus: the dots on the homepage seem to react to cursor movement, so that's a plus!
This is a non-profit organization that provides learning opportunities to help students develop fundamental skills.
